The Office of Program and Alternative Delivery delivers transportation projects and programs for the Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) by addressing unique and complex challenges that are not well suited for traditional project delivery.

The office leads SHA's Alternative Delivery Program. It is advancing the development of the American Legion Bridge+I-270 Corridor Program projects. This office provides subject matter expertise on alternative project delivery across SHA and provides support to other SHA offices, Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) modes, and local counties and municipalities. The office also supports SHA's overall programs, such as projects to improve safety for vulnerable road users and electric vehicle infrastructure.
