The Maryland Standard Method of Test (MSMT) manual is published online as a reference and guide to be used in conjunction with the Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) publications Standard Specifications for Construction and Materials and Book of Standards, Highway and Incidental Structures. The MSMT manual provides laboratory and project personnel with detailed descriptions and procedures for material sampling and testing. The MSMT manual is updated as noted below. SHA does not provide hard copies of this manual.
