(October 3, 2014) – The State Highway Administration (SHA) will complete pavement patching and repairs at two intersections of MD 404 (Shore Highway) east of Denton, Caroline County on Tuesday, October 7th.  The repairs will be done at Legion Road and at Bullock Road. 

 

Work at both locations will be completed between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. with single lane closures and flagging operations for motorists.  The repairs are necessary due to roadway settling following recent underground pipe replacements.  SHA’s contractor for the $5,000 project is American Infrastructure of Fallston.

 

While SHA and its transportation partners work hard to maintain safe traffic mobility in work zones, each driver needs to actively modify his or her driving style to help prevent crashes or injury to workers.  Stay alert and look for reduced speed limits, narrow driving and highway workers.  Slow down and don’t follow too closely.  Safer Driving.
