SHA is temporarily closing ramps along I-795 (Northwest Expressway) between Owings Mills Boulevard and I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) at night on Thursday, August 23 and Sunday, August 26 for concrete pavement milling work. SHA also plans to close one lane along southbound I-795 between Friday night, August 24 and Monday morning, August 27 for weekend concrete pavement removal and replacement work.

11 p.m. Thursday, August 23 - 5 a.m. Friday, August 24:
Overnight Ramp Closure: Southbound Owings Mills Boulevard to Southbound I-795.
Detour: Continue on Southbound Owings Mills Boulevard , turn left onto Red Run Boulevard, turn left onto Mill Run Circle (mall ring road) , then turn left onto ramp to I-795 South
7 p.m. Friday, August 24 - 5 a.m. Monday August 27:
Weekend Lane Closure: One lane of southbound I-795 closed between south of the Owings Mills Boulevard interchange and the I-695 interchange. Two lanes on southbound I-795 will remain open to traffic all weekend. Crews will be in the work zone at various times this weekend to pour and set sections of concrete pavement. Crews may not be present at all times; however, sections of concrete pavement will be closed until the concrete is cured and declared safe for travel.
11 p.m. Sunday, August 25 – 5 a.m. Monday, August 27:
Overnight Ramp Closure: Southbound I-795 to southbound Owings Mills Boulevard towards Owings Mills Town Center
Detour: Ramp to northbound Owings Mills Boulevard; proceed to southbound Reisterstown Road to Painters Mill Road to Red Run Boulevard back to Owings Mills Boulevard in the Town Center area.
The work is part of SHA’s ongoing $3.8 million project to repair concrete pavement along I-795 between I-695 and the CSX overpass in Owings Mills. The project, which also includes guardrail replacement, drainage improvements and pavement repairs, began spring 2012 and will be complete fall 2013, weather permitting.
