SHA is cleaning and repairing underground pipes carrying a tributary of Dead Run underneath I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) at Exit 17, MD 122 (Security Boulevard) interchange in the Woodlawn area of Baltimore County through early fall 2011.
During construction work, there will be shoulder closures along I-695 and ramp traffic shifts along the ramps to and from Exit 17, Security Boulevard between 9 a.m. and 3 a.m. Monday – Friday and 7 p.m. – 5 a.m. the next day Sunday – Thursday, to allow equipment and crews to move safely through the work zone.
The State’s contractor is Marine Technologies Inc., of Baltimore. This work is part of a $1.8 million project to clean and repair SHA’s underground pipe systems statewide.
