The SHA Office of Information Technology provides strategic direction and coordination of information technology resources within SHA using a combination of in-house and outside resources.
This division performs the front-end IT project prioritization process for submission to SHA’s IT Steering Committee, which decides the projects requested for future funding. This division also coordinates the research, testing, and piloting of new technologies.
This division maintains, supports and enhances the IT infrastructure. This includes the support and on-going utilization of Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) and related engineering applications. Employees in this division are also responsible for local and wide-area network management and support activities. The Technical Services Division is also responsible for the procurement, distribution and support of desktop systems, as well as operational support of the servers, printers and plotters required for SHA’s engineering and business applications.
Using a combination of in-house and outside resources, this division provides and coordinates the acquisition, development and maintenance of all major business systems. This division also supports all web-based services including Internet and Intranet websites.
